In this article I made an attempt to analyze different concepts of citizenship, because the idea of citizenship is nowadays becoming a topical issue, partly due to the geopolitical transformations taking place in countries, crucial social and economic reforms involving societies, particularly migration, the effect of globalization and sensitive challenges to personal identity and values.
