The topical issues of the interaction of canon and international law are disclosed on the example of international legal relations. The influence of religious norms on the legal conscience, foreign policy, diplomacy and law in modern society and in the historical perspective is analyzed.
Legal assessment of the actions of offenders according to the norms of international and canon law is provided. The examples of flagrant violations of the norms and principles of international law in connection with an armed invasion (as well as religious conflicts), which are a threat to national and international security, are given.
The military Russian aggression in Syria (together with informative propaganda) has been causing a continuous great migration of the hundreds of thousands of refugees from the Middle East to the European Union. Regular cases of provocations by terrorists of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) are still taking place on European territory. As a result it provokes the collision of Islam and Christian civilizations and escalates the conflict in the international relations. It actually puts the whole world before the threat of the Third World War. On the basis of the norms of canon and international law the legal analysis of the consequences of military aggression and violation of international agreements is carried out.
